Oat bread
An easy alternative to bread - this recipe uses rolled oats instead of flour.
Ingredients
- 4 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups low-fat unsweetened yoghurt
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon baking soda
- sunflower, sesame or pumpkin seeds (optional)
Method
- 1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees celcius.
- 2. Mix the first four ingredients together in a large bowl. You can add a sprinkle of seeds here if you like.
- 2. Lightly grease a loaf tin and pour the mixture in.
- 3. Sprinkle with sesame, sunflower or pumpkin seeds.
- 4. Bake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
- 5. Serve fresh or toasted.
