Wellington Botanic Gardens playground
Located in the sprawling grounds of the capital city's botanical gardens, this playground is packed with cool things to play on. It will keep the kids happy for hours.
There are double slides, a rocktopus, flying fox and lots of climbing structures. There is an enclosed play area especially for small children. While some of the paths are on a hill, they are paved and smooth so are pram-friendly. Nearby picnic tables and toilets make this playground a great place for a family outing.
Afterwards, take a walk around the gardens. There are dozens of paths to choose from and always something interesting to see. The duck pond is a favourite with kids and adults of all ages.
