Watercare Coastal Walkway, Auckland
Walk among one of New Zealand’s largest marine restoration projects.
The Watercare Coastal Walkway is just a few kilometres from the centre of Auckland on the Manukau foreshore. Native trees provide shelter for all sorts of birdlife including terns, sandpipers and godwits. The 7km relatively flat track runs along the Manukau foreshore between Ambury Regional park and the Otuataua stonefields. For a shorter walk, join the walkway from Oruarangi Creek or Creamery Rd.
