Pork kebabs
Cook on the BBQ in summer or grill in the oven in winter, this is a quick and easy way to serve pork and vegetables.
Ingredients
- 400 grams lean pork, diced
- 2 teaspoons crushed garlic
- 1 tablespoon low-salt soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 capsicum, cut into pieces
- 1 zucchini, sliced into rounds
- 6 wooden kebab sticks, soaked in water
Method
- 1. Combine the pork with the garlic, soy sauce and tomato paste in a bowl. Set aside to marinade for at least 10 minutes.
- 2. Turn the grill on to 200C.
- 4. To assemble the kebabs, push the kebab stick through a chunk of pork, then add capsicum, pork, zucchini and pork.
- 5. Assemble the rest of the kebabs.
- 6. Place the kebabs on grease proof paper on a tray.
- 7. Cook for 15 minutes, turning often until the pork is cooked through.
- 8. Serve with rice and a side salad.
