Ribbon games
Making shapes with ribbons and scarves is a fun and easy way to get moving.
Take either a long piece of ribbon or a scarf and tie it on to a piece of wood. Use your imagination and make up games. Here's some ideas to try:
- try making animal shapes in the air
- run, jump or skip while keeping the ribbon moving
- move to music
- see if one person can run through the shape without touching the ribbon.
